Torintone Gin

Thornton Hall's very own Gin.

Created specifically to our own recipe, and distilled in Spital on the Wirral.

Torintone gets its name from the Doomsday Book,  the settlement which many years later became the village of Thornton Hough was called Torintone in the Doomsday Book.

Commissioned by William the Conqueror and completed in 1086,  the book was a survey of all of England and most of Wales designed to identify who was liable to pay tax, who owned what land and how much livestock land owners had.

The unique Torintone Gin recipe was designed by us to create a balance between flavour and enjoyment.  The label design was taken from William the Conqueror's coat of arms.

Tornintone Gin makes the perfect gift.  Also available for sale at Hotel Reception.
